TED WILLIAMS, THE MAN WITH THE "GOLDEN VOICE" REVEALS NEW JOB WITH KRAFT FOODS
COLUMBUS, Ohio --The Columbus homeless man whose silky voice made him a web phenomenon in 2011 is now using his past to help others who are struggling like he once was.
Ted Williams, the so-called "Golden Voice" now has a contract with Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, doing voice-over work.
He told reporters with NBC's Today Show that he's taking it one day at a time, and doing things that matter to him, like helping the homeless.
Williams and Kraft partnered to start a foundation in Columbus, raising money to help the homeless.
"Some people, they really look at me with admiration and they're like, 'God, if you can do it, I can do it.' And I feel like if I fail, what is that person going to do?" he said.
Williams said that shouldering that responsibility keeps him on track and focused on what he does best.
