Langston Hughes ...

Now I have the first edition of his short stories,... I especially love The Ways of White Folks and Cora Unashamed....
Althought it took me a long time to understand and appreciate his writing style... Now his books are very precious to me.... I never loan them out!!

LOL! Although I do not have those writings, I know the feeling!

Langston is my favorite writer. Unfortunately, "There are no roses here" is still, very much true. Now, there are "Stand your ground laws", privatization of public schools and penal institutions. "They" still profit from our peoples' misery.

It sounds to me that all of you have some sort of a grab because our lives isn’t what it should be am I right. Well then, what is our permanent solution if it is not sovereignty on a reasonable and fertile portion of this continent that we can call our very own country to pursuit life, liberty, happiness and prosperity in our own way? Is such a thought to big for you all to handle?

You all keep whining and complaining as our ancestors before us did. When are we going to stop this craziness?
