Go figure!!

We live in a area that has an abundance of nature! We enjoy orange trees, kumquarts, fig trees, pecan trees, apple trees... NO Seriously...

And we also have pests like the Oppossum!!
We had a family nesting in one of our fig trees...

Did ya know these critters eat anything.... Dog food, Cat food, Fish, Garbarge.....

Unfortunately, he attacked my Chihuahua... and let's just say its no longer amongts my habitat!!!

No worries.... I also found out that people will pay $$$ for these things...

Now ain't that foul!!!

LOL!
Did you give the possum' a fair trial? Yes, some people still have possums for dinner, but most don't care for inner city possums only ones raised out in the wild. Normally they'll attack if they feel threatned.
O' Pop'm! ROTHFL!

EW! Miisrael... LOL
He could have lived an ripe old age... Living a life of royalty with the crows, hawks, bats, butterflies, chimpmunks... with as much citrus can it could stand...ya know....

BUT when it traumatized my dog..... that was it... So until my dog receives her therapy... I've got to carry her outside and wait while she goes potty!!

I do hope your little dog will be okay.
Just one of true life situations...Take good care of her until she is confident to go by herself. [Smiles]

Thanks... the possum is still in the trap cage...so I'm letting Sasha (my dog) see that it's no longer a threat to her... I'm hoping that this may help her rebuild her canine esteem.... my experience is with dogs... and sometimes they can act like little children...

Hey if Skinner can condition his dogs... I figure why not give it a try

Whatha' gon do wit that possum? Are you eventually going to let him go free? Or call in the pet detectives?

MIISRAEL Bride Monday, January 14th 2013 at 2:17PM

Sasha, has a responsible pet owner. That's good.

Have you seen those commericals where animals are mistreated. It's so distrubing...Why have pets if you only want to neglect them. I'm not simply understanding that.

Cynthia Merrill Artis Monday, January 14th 2013 at 2:37PM

Oh no I couldn't eat that.... some by passer saw it trapped in the cage; offered me $25.00, he's supposed to come by and pick it up today...

I'm afraid of it... Like you said, they will attack... and I'll have none of that "playing dead" ...

Sasha is like our little child... I'm not like dog crazy you know all up on my bed and on furniture... BUT she was the runt of her liter... so I had to nurse her and all... she's three years old.. and has mastered manuevers on getting her way with my son and I...

and yes... I hate animal cruelty... all those poor puppies... i don't like cats...
