I think Marlon will do well in the role. Richard Pryor did a semi-autobiography of his own life in his movie Jo Jo Dancer Your Life is Calling which entailed his life and drug dependency. It's worth a look if you haven't seen. This new movie is titled after one of his stand-up stage productions with the same title. "Was it Something I Said." He made many many people laugh and also influences many comics today.

I think he'll be a good choice. Marlon's done so many movies with his brothers Keenan, Damon, and Shawn that no one never really got to see how much potential he has outside of their direction.
