WHY GOD?
I am not sure why God does the things he do.
Even though it’s not my intentions, I sometimes forget to pray. I sometimes get caught up in the day to day drama and just might tell a person where they can go (and I assure you, I’m not referencing heaven when I do). Unconsciously I get caught up in what I got going on that I don’t humble myself as I should. To my error I sometimes boast about my accomplishments, not recognizing the one who made them all possible. It would make one wonder, what is my fate? Surely, you would think God would have thrown me by the wayside long ago.
But, you know what he did?
He gave me an angel. How? I don’t know. In all of my imperfections he handed over one of his very own to me. Every day, I’m reminded that his grace and mercy is beyond measure. I’ve got a woman that truly, truly had to be manufactured by God. Sweeter than fresh Honeysuckle picked straight from the vine, she is. In all of my visions of what I thought I wanted, he surpassed my expectations and orchestrated that my desires were mere suppositions to his infinite capabilities. When I thought I had experienced love, he injected her into my life and elucidated my definition of love. Now, I get lost in love just to be resurrected all over again with each birthing better than the past. With her, my today surpasses the glory of yesterday. She’s truly a treasure without monetary value, what makes her all the more superiority is that God gave her to me. So here I am, a man with fears, convictions, downfalls, and afflictions, but God still gave me the greatest gift of all… LOVE. I am not sure why God does the things he do, but I am so glad he did. Thank you Lord.
