I think he took it TOO FAR! I'm into discipline say take away their computer time, take away their Computers, I-Phones, I-Pad, Blackberriers, All Portable Devices, no talking on the telephone to friends, delete their facebook accounts, ground them until they are 18 BUT don't beat your girls, daddy.
