6.3 EARTHQUAKE TREMBLED OVER IRAN

Southern Iran experienced a magnitude earthquake of 6.3 near the village of Bushehr. The rattler quake tore down buildings tumbling and killing at least 37 people. At least 870 injuries were reported from the quake's rumble. The entire city of Kaki was ruined. In addition the quake could be felt in other areas across the Persian Gulf and in Bahrain. There was some fear that a nuclear plant would be damaged, but reports said no major damage or danger was evident of cause for alert. At least three aftershocks were also reported.
