Lookout!

For a span of four days riots are breaking out in Stockholm. Several groups of youths armed with bottles, rocks, bricks, sticks and fire has been targeting police. Each day the riots go more intense than other past riots occurred and recorded in the past. A group of well-organized rioters ranges in ages of early twenties have pinpointed, burning of schools and cars, art centers and even a police station. The riots all begin when a 68 year-old man was shot and killed by police in the suburb of Husby earlier this month. The man poised a threat to police by flashing a knife when he was shot and killed. Some of locals called the situation another case of police brutality. Since then riots have grown into elevated proportions.

Sweden officials stated they are not truly understanding the violence and stated the youths have a total disrespect for police authority. Many arrests were made during the four days of unrest. However, the other causes may generate from financial and social living conditions along with deeper gaps between economic and social division. Many homeless and the poor are neglected and tensions of unfair government treatment are other reasons of observation of the riots. One official said that any kind of scene with police can stir their anger can spark their matches to riot.

Someone is requiring a span of attention..

Thanks Miisrael. I wonder, another sign of the New World Order?

Hi Steve....this story appeals to my interest because of a few key elements, perhaps a new world order, but how conditions of government especially when it begins to be just a greed; can also create a backlash of social conditions and hardships on people, There must be mountains of undercurrents where people feet they have not been equally treated. Jobless, homeless, poverty and living in day by day survival. Others, where people don't want to respect laws and rules of the land. These stories capture my interest and I somewhat study them to see much of the outcome. I see a sign that points to violence and uncalled for rage. Attention will have to take place, even if it begins with listening, and then trying a solution to help make it better for everyone. Okay! I've let out my two cents worth! Thanks for commenting and reading my response. :-)
