The Red Cross world wide aid has to be thankful for the Afghan security's aiding them in a dramatic rescue. Sources of the media wrote that a battle confronted with insurgents lasted around two hours. The Afghan Security team came to the aid of the International Red Cross. Three of the Red Cross workers were women and four men were all safe after the rough battle left the leader of the insurgent group dead. One of the workers was slightly wounded. Additionally, one of the Security personnel also perished in the faceoff. The International Red Cross group were living in a guest house in the eastern city of Jalalabad which housed a total of 35 guests. The reason that the International Red Cross workers were attacked is not clear since mainstay involves aiding help and consults in that area. The latest reports indicated that all the foreigners of the International Red Cross are safe and security is under control. It was stated that the Red Cross had been warned of possible unsafe conditions last month.
