Serena brought home the win in the Women's Singles Competition of the French Open. Serena defeating her contendter Maria Sharapova 6,4 6,4. This makes this win number 16 of her Grand Slam.

Serena...Serena...Serena! She got the game and she made it known as she danced her way to her winning moment in a match against French's Sara Errani. Williams showed very little mercy in a 45 minute play on June 06, 2013. It was all serious play as Williams captured the win in the French Open Women's Semi-Final. Williams was a crowd pleaser as well as Errani; and it was a good game match, as Errani gave her some of her best stuff! However, Serena had the right stuff and took that game away! Winning!
In an early interview Williams said she thought...
"I can't go out like that again.."
More of the French Open had Serena hungry for the game.
