MONSOON SEASON DRENCHING FLOODS IN INDIA

As it rained heavily for days the floods of monsoon season struck also villages in a narrow valley of Lucknow. The peaceful valley is near a Hindu shrine in the northern part of the Himalayas. Along with villages and people covered in land and mudslides, some villages were totally destroyed in districts of Rudrapayag and Chamoli . Officials said that some 100 people have perished, and hundreds are missing. In New Delhi the monsoon weather has caused at least 2000 people to be evacuated to seek higher grounds. Helicopters have dropped some food and medical supplies to villagers and rescue aids are assisting to save lives. Monsoon seasons are very common in India but often causes loss of homes and life to hundreds each year.

That's so sad and the rainy season comes yearly. When it rains ( there ), it pours!! God have mercy on the people there and I plead the Blood of Jesus over them!
