WORST HAZE IN SINGAPORE DIMS THEIR SKY
JUNE 2013
Day 20
Singapore
Over a Singapore Sky would make a wonderful movie title, but this is no movie scene. Singapore is experiencing its worst haze ever. The air pollution index reached 226 indicating that it was hazardous. Many were told to remain indoors due to respiratory dangers. Fires from raging surrounding areas have been pinpointed to have caused the unusual smog condition. Many people were overcome with coughing. Fires were purposely started to clear lands by plantation owners, and has caused complaints from offical diplomats. Although some areas are banned from open burning by the Department of Enviornment in three states separate Sumatra by the Malacca Strait, many of the plantation owners are defended by Indonesian officials. A government panel is being formed to protect the state's economic resilience.
Q-Q

IR, I am deeply concerned of what's happening in the natural environment of the planet. It's troubling that pollutants and nuclear waste too threatens health safety. It's very close to home. The earth, sky, air and natural habitations all at risk of total pollution. Prayer helps, I thank God for environmentalists and people who are supportive to help keep the green.
