AN ODD STORY: IN BREAKING IN THE GROUND!
SINK, SANK, SUNK!
Once upon a time a woman in her car probably wouldn't want to hear anyone telling any knock, knock jokes. As 60 year old Pamela Knox was on her way driving in Toledo, Ohio with only to become one in a ground opening ceremony.
The ground began breaking into a large sink hole which swallowed her up! Crungh! down in the hole she went in her vehicle. Can you imagine the distraught, as she wondered what was actually taking place! Then the greedy sink hole also sprinkled her car with a free car wash! Ms. Knox was surely quite shaken up when she found she had ventured into a ground's breaking sort of a meal.
The accident; if you'll call it that, happened around 12p.m. Toledo time on Wednesday, July 03, 2013. Within minutes, fire and rescue units arrived and extended a ladder to get her out. Although she was "driving on sinking ground" Ms. Knox wasn't seriously injured. The ground gave way after a underground broken waterline caused the earth to wash down and away creating the huge hole.
Perhaps it was Ms. Knox's "ground breaking" moment she climbed and walked away gladly, but that hole kept her car for about four hours! Even with the free car wash, there still was a little dirt left!
That must have of been a grave disappointment. . .
Leaving the scene...the moral of this story might be An Odd One.
I thought this was An Odd Story..
Just think now driving may have a "whole" new experience.
Next, they'll be making cars with built in shovels..
and ladders, and maybe wings and a soap.
