I think that women can teach boys and young men how to be respectful, responsible, driven adults but I definitely think that a man can give him real tips, advice on how deal with things, different ideas and share experiences so they can skip past steps of having to learn things the hard way. Fatherless young men benefit greatly from male mentors just as young women raised by single fathers benefit greatly by having women around. It's like a father can try to raise a young lady but having a mother figure around is better. I'm speaking in terms of an actual adult that really cares for the child's well being and who will not be a just a friend to a child.

WHAT DOES IT REALLY MEAN WHEN SOMEONE SAYS "I AM PRO-LIFE"?
I was raised by a single mother who is now deceased, and I am one of those good men that have come from a single mother home, and do a good job of being a man if I don't say so myself. But it was not my mother who taught me, an only child, how to be a man. Sure she taught her son what her idea of a man is and how she thinks a man should be. She definitely instilled in me certain values and did not spare the rod when I misbehaved lol. However it is the male models she provided for me as well as interactions with other men, who taught me the lesson that she as a single mother could not.
