The question was asked who are we, the descendent of plantation slaves.
I’ll tell you all again who we are. We are a new race of people. There are no records of us existing anywhere in the world before plantation slavery and therefore, we are a new race of people.
All Black people are not the same people. All black birds are not the same birds either am I right.
Black Americans are a new race of people not to be confused with any other people. We are not Africans. We are a new race of people.
We came into existence when the old White slave-masters bred themselves with the first wave of African slaves over a period of 300 years. When the breeding process stopped in 1865 a new race of people know today as Black Americans were now apart of humanity.
The concept is the same as when the scientist took a peach tree and crossed it with a plum tree resulting in a nectarine tree. The nectarine tree is a new tree and fruit added to the already existing trees and fruits.
The nectarine tree is neither a peach nor a plum tree. It is a new tree. Likewise, Black Americans are neither African nor are we White. We are a new race of people.
Lastly, Ms. Thomasena asks where are we going. We are going to be a sovereign people in a country of our own in my life-time. Sovereignty is our only permanent solution.
