i'm dark skinned, more of a caramel complexion, and i once had a teacher like that named ms. signal, she would act as though she didn't want to be bothered with her dark skinned students, yet always had the time and energy to help her light skinned students, one day i was sitting outside on the playground with some friends and we were talking about how i couldn't wait to go to college, she walked right up to where i was sitting and told me that she didn't think i was college material, how i wish i could see her frog faced ass right now, but i will always remember my teacher ms. hickerson, this woman carried herself like royalty, she told all her students they were beautiful despite what people told us, and she pushed us to be all can be and to never sacrifice your morals just to fit in with the in crowd, her words stick with me to this day

Jake, I have seen the video you're referring to, in fact I have posted it a week ago and someone took it down (for obvious reasons). I know a lot of people feel some type of way about this brother and the language he uses can be offensive, however the issues that he brings to light (such as the Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman case, child molestation, bullying in the black community, men not being responsible, women not knowing how to shut their legs, etc.) are far more valuable than his crassness. Most of what he speaks is factual and well known, not only in our community but among other races as well. Its not about self hate or trashing ratchet Black women, its an attempt at a tough love wake up call.

For the record I've worked and communicated daily with some of the ratchet black women he speaks of, even the "highly educated" ones, who claim to be intelligent yet take their clothes off for every man who crosses their path.
