Still, you have asked again and again, so I will say that most white men I have met in my sixty plus years have been both saint and sinner (Martin Luther's central theological concept). But my father was truly a great man, a Norwegian American who grew up on a farm and went to work and sent his checks home, to his parents, so they would be able to keep the farm. He served in the army in WWII as a tank driver and drove over a landmine in the Normandy region of France -- losing his legs. When he woke up on the battlefield he was surrounded by dead friends and burning things. He thanked God for the gift of life, and, after several hundred operations he went back home, got engaged to my mother, got married and worked hard the rest of his life. He was active in our church and in the community and was an inspiration to many.

Curtis, when I was very young I had a dream in which I was killed by a land mine. I can still remember clearly looking down at my guts falling out of my torso. In the late 50s we didn't have gruesome TV and I knew nothing of land mines. This is one reason why I believe in reincarnation, along with deja vu, remembering the exact moment when I became self aware, and the general cyclic nature of the world.
I know this is in conflict with the teachings of Christianity but I mean no disrespect to your faith.
