The electric car industry has lately been observing accidents and related fires with the 2013 Telsa Model S. The latest accident which occurred on Thursday, November 07, 2013 on an interstate in Smyrna, Tennessee when the battery caught fire causing extensive damage to the auto. This was the third of similar fires in the past 6 weeks. Attention to the fires caused stocks and or investments to fall. Exactly why the engines of the electric model burns completely is being examine and studied.
