Esteemed psychiatrist, Dr. Frances Cress Welsing, drops heavy knowledge on the controversial television series, Scandal, and the recent bombardment of "slave movies" in the media. She also addresses the harmful "silence on racism" and much more.

I get what you're saying, however Scandal still is dangerous because of the image and message it represents. I agree with what Dr. Welsing shared in the radio interview about how it seems that the only way a black actress can only get a leading role--in this day and time--is if her characters in movies opens her legs for white men. Halle Berry did it in Monster's Ball and Kerry Washington is doing it in Scandal.

that's why i don't watch scandal and have no interest in doing so, it doesn't turn me on to watch a black woman having an affair with a married man, that show appeals more for women like jen fad, jen won't admit it but i bet she likes that kind of ****

ME, I SEE THIS TV SERIES AS BEING GOOD, BECAUSE IT HAS MOVED US A CO- ACTORS, ACTRESS. OR LEAD ONLY IF WE HAD A GUN IN HAND OR SOME OTHER FORM OF PHYSICAL VIOLENT ROLES ON TV. (SMILE)
