Here is something to jump start your critical thinking faculty...
No religious system can be founded otherwise than upon the nature of God and humans, and upon the relations they bear to each other. But in order to judge the reality of these relations, we must have some idea of the divine nature. But, theology tells us that the nature and essence of God is incomprehensible to man; after all how can the finite comprehend the infinite? Yet, at the same time theologians (and their religions) do not hesitate to assign attributes to this incomprehensible God, and then convince their adherents that man cannot dispense with a knowledge of this God so impossible to conceive of!
How is it that we have succeeded in persuading reasonable beings that the thing most impossible for them to understand is the most essential for them? Why is it that the most important thing for man is that which is impossible for him to comprehend?
I repeat, RELIGION IS THE ART OF OCCUPYING LIMITED MINDS WITH THAT WHICH IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR THEM TO COMPREHEND!!!
David,
Your blog is something you cut and paste that makes no sense. What you are saying is that the Jewish people with their own religion of Judaism all have limited minds and I don’t think so. Or, that the Arabians have limited minds with their own religion of Islam or that Black Americans have limited minds with our own religion LIFE.
You are not reasoning rationally. Again, do you still think that you are smarter than I am?
