A mayhem started with a shooting leaving one man dead as peacekeepers marched in Bangui. Riots broke out as conditions heightened tensions where at least 40 others were injured and taken to local hospital for treatment. The protestors have been in a continued fight to oust their present president and bring back order of their government. Ongoing uprising is not uncommon in the region as unrest continues.

WORLD WATCHER
`O-O`

@ Miisrael,
..."The French intervention to disarm fighters in the impoverished landlocked country has been largely welcomed by the Christian majority but many Muslims argue that operations against the remnants of Seleka have left them vulnerable to reprisals.
On Sunday several thousand Muslim supporters of Seleka protested in Bangui against the French troops.
Amnesty International says some 1,000 people have been killed since December 5, mostly by Muslim ex-rebels but also in Christian reprisal attacks, targeting Muslims, people from the country's north and Chadian nationals, along with all seen as complicit with Seleka."...
It saddens my heart to hear about all the unrest and also people of different groups fighting for their political parties when they should all be coming together for the common good of everyone despite their own political views. Why such utter depravity of human nature show itself at a time where we should still be remembering the great efforts of the great humanitarian the world just lost in former SA president Nelson Mandela?
