Horrid news of the what is called "quan jue" has indicated Juan Song the late uncle to Kim Jong Un has leaked a different story. According to the Straits Times of Singapore Song was executed by starving dogs which devoured him to death. This type of execution is a ancient practice, but sources from the newspaper said that the horrid execution was watched by Kim Jong Un along with 300 senior officials supervising the death. The process was noted to take 1 hour. This latest account differs from that of the firing squad which was released by another news source on the day of his execution on December 12, 2013.
