What is faith? Can you walk by both faith and sight not one with out the other?

Is the dictionary right about faith? Or, it the Bible right about faith? I walk by both faith and sight. My belief in God is based on sight. I have something concert to base my faith and belief in God.

God created this physical world for us physical people to inhabit and therefore any religious belief we accept to believe and store away in our must have physical relevance. In this physical world everything must make sense. All the laws of this earth make sense.
By the same token, your belief in God must make sense. And, Black America’s belief in God must first begin and come from a Black American prophet. If your belief comes from a prophet who is not a Black American then your belief does not make sense.

Things that you won’t see with your physical eyes you can see with you analytical mind’s eyes by a preponderance of evidence that God is real and has divine rules, regulations and format to follow.

Everything that I’ve said that is going to happen for Black Americans is going to happen and my faith in God that it does happen is unshakeable! And, even if God didn’t tell me the things that are going to happen I would still know that it is going to happen because my sight is that it happen before with the Children of Israel and therefore my sight and faith are one.

Have you ever done LSD Harry, perhaps when you were a young man?

Harry Watley Monday, January 20th 2014 at 7:28AM

Hello Steve,

You asked have I ever done LSD. Steve, please stick to the topic!

Steve Williams Wednesday, January 22nd 2014 at 11:12AM

That is the subject Harry, audiovisual hallucinations. People who used LSD can have what they call flashbacks which can occur many years later. It was a simple question Harry, which I can answer yes to (though I've never experienced a flashback). What about you?

Obama's former pastor wrote a sermon entitled the audacity of hope. I may not get all the details right but I remember reading that sermon and thinking how utterly powerful it was. To me, the phrase works with substituting the word 'faith' for 'hope'... i.e., the audacity of faith. I used an image from Rev. Wright's sermon when I had to breach on the Sunday after our town's school bus had a tragic accident -- one young girl killed, and a girl from 'my' congregation was seriously injured. Other children were on the bus and saw things that were very traumatic. The image I used from Rev. Wright's sermon spoke of hope as a woman sitting on the top of a massive, steaming junk heap, and she is handling and then playing a violin which has but one string... The music is haunting, yet beautiful, and it speaks of a world that can only be seen through the eyes of faith... whereas the eyes of the flesh see the world and history as a massive, steaming junk heap.

Steve,
I don't remember having flashbacks, either. I can honestly say I'm glad about that!

Hello Steve,

Nowhere in your reply dated Wednesday, January 22nd 2014 at 11:12AM is the word FAITH mentioned and that means that you are not on topic.

If your next reply should be off topic I will avoid responding altogether. I don’t play games.

I’ve told you that you are very stupid man to White.

Harry Watley Wednesday, January 22nd 2014 at 5:18PM

Hello Mr. Curtis,

I don’t see how Rev. Wright fits into the question of the blog. Are you stupid?

The blog ask the question can you walk both by faith and sight and not just one with out the other. Do you have reading comprehension problems?

Curtis Tilleraas Wednesday, January 22nd 2014 at 5:24PM

Haha, now I'm 90% convinced that Robert and Harry are one and the same person.

Curt

Harry Watley Wednesday, January 22nd 2014 at 10:01PM

Stupid Curtis,

You said this, “Haha, now I'm 90% convinced that Robert and Harry are one and the same person.”

Idiot, the subject of the blog is can you walk by both sight and faith and not just faith!

If your next reply is not about the blog’s topic I will not be responding as I am now.

Steve Williams Wednesday, January 22nd 2014 at 11:58PM

Harry wants to stay on topic, now that's one for the books. Well Harry, what does it mean to walk by faith?
