YOUR NATIONAL/WORLD NEWS
DAY 26
January 2014
Los Angeles, CA

There were many highlights at this year's 2014 Grammy Awards Show but this one event of marriages was altogether a new course of nominations. In fact, it was more like invitations to the weddings. At least 34 couples joined in the marriage ceremony with vows locked in by presiding Queen Latifah and with the appearance of Madonna who help in sealing the commitments of the group of couples. The couples of inter-racial, same-s*xes, different s*xes and well any other kind of couples made their wedding vows in front of the audiences. This was a first at the Grammys and it seemed to be a well produced show as producers chose the isles instead of the stage to prevent any type of conflict of exploits. Thousands in the audience cheered as couples, caressed, kissed and said their I do's. Latifah has been authorized to perform wedding ceremonies to homos*xual and heteros*xual couples in California.

I didn't watch the Grammys...

It was a very different Grammy's. I can't really explain it but it was like the sign of the times we're living in. No matter what, I think we are to treat all human beings with kindness and respect even if we don't necessarily believe in what they are doing.

Jen: Respect of persons is true. We are also taught in living our life for Christ not all things we do are pleasing to God, but are pleasing to the flesh--and everything we do with are bodies are not necessarily good for us. However, we respect moreover, God has made all things to serve for purpose of his exaltation in all things. I find we should remain loyal and obedient to God's commands.

God is Our Creator, as I respect a person choice, I also ask too; that they have respect the choice I have if I don't always be agreeable to take part in what they do.

Absolutely. I think you've hit the nail on its head. Mutual respect is definitely something that is needed in this "say whatever and do whatever you feel" society. We all need to try to do better and be better.

MAYBE, LESS OF THE BELIEF THAT WE ARE NOT ALL GOD'S CHILDREN GOING AROUND 'CHRISTIAN AMERICA'?!?...

MORE OF MOTHER'S LIKE OUR PRESIDENT'S MOTHER CAN IN 2014 LIVE IN HER OWN HOME TOWN WITHOUT FEAR OF BEING KILLED FOR LOVING HER OWN HUSBAND. (SMILE)
