Were our ancestors happy to be slaves?
Ms. Thomasina said this, “Many Southerners expressed the idea that the slaves were happy in their confinement. The did not want to leave their benevelant Masters and that was the reason many of them outed the slaves who were planning to escape.”
Happy is not the word to use. The lives of our ancestors had more to do with psychology and the way we live today this same psychology applies.
Because, for what ever reason back then that we did not want to leave the slave-masters is the very same reason we don’t want to leave the descendents of the old slave-masters today. Our minds are as dead today as they were back then with our ancestors.
For example, we today don’t want to leave the Christian religion that the slave-masters gave our ancestors and we know the Christian religion truly belongs to the old slave-masters.
For Ms. Thomasina, can you not see that I am the same as Mr. Denmark Vesey, Mr. John Brown and Nat Turner since I want you all to leave and you all ousted me, am I right?
