DISCOVERING THE ROMANCE WITH THE LORD

When I think of God, I don't imagine having a romance or intimate relationship with him because I know that there are incubus and succubus spirits that want to fulfill your request.

It is certain that the Bible deals with demons as very real, very powerful beings which have dealings with mankind.
A succubus is a demon that takes the form of a woman in order to have intercourse with a man in his dreams. The name comes from Old Latin, and means “to lie under.” In Islamic superstition, there is a similar demon called the qarinah or karina, and in ancient Middle Eastern cultures Lilith was the night demon's name.
The male counterpart of the succubus is the incubus, from the Latin incubo for "nightmare." An incubus was supposedly a male demon who would lie with sleeping human women in order to have s*xual intercourse with them. Incubi were thought to be able to father children, and the half-human offspring of an incubus was called a “cambion.” Merlin, the legendary wizard from the King Arthur legends, was supposedly sired by an incubus, from whom he received his supernatural powers and abilities. Both succubi and incubi were the products of medieval superstitions and were most likely efforts to explain the natural phenomena that occur during sleep—nightmares, s*xual dreams, sleep paralysis and night terrors.

Thank you Helen for the recent comment. I very well agree with you; there are demonic spirits. If you're choosing not to have intimacy with the Lord or as you worded you don't imagine having a romance or intimacy--certainly you know what limits you have set for your love of the Lord.

Let me also say as to clarify, when I'm speaking of initmacy in romance with the Lord. I am not referring to having a s*xual relationship, or having the fulfillment of s*xual pleasures. This is totally not of the Holy Spirit as the Holy Spirit is not for the carnal-minded. The Spiritual connection of God is pefected love in Christ Jesus and the Father of Heaven. A romance is receiving the spiritual intimacy or a infinite closeness to God in the heart that directs you to glorify purity to become a holy being. As I have mentioned this romance is with loving the righteous doings, the commandments, and romancing God in praise and with acts of faith and worship. These very virtues one can become romantic and build in intimacy. Perhaps it's one's only personal meaning of intimacy as love can also have some limitations to each person's growth of spirit.

Since many are fearful of spirits and demonic conveys, you'll notice that these mainly follow those who lean in tendancy to s*xual pleasures and relations of s*xual lusts. Yet, we must remember those who truly have God's trust will fear "no evil" for God is with them. His Holy Spirit is our intercession, and to show the romance of intimacy of God will only have the One Holy Spirit being romanced. Thanks for the information. God blessings.

Missed you a bit. You've been away? Glad you're here...

And you wouldn't be alone in freezing up. The thought alone has results. I have however discovered a very kind and loving presence that calms me about being in God's presence. I know that it would totally change me. Mainly, when I have the romance of thoughts, I do so only in a spiritual mind setting when it's meditation and I'm out of reach of society and interruptions. I marvel at the precious time of a spiritual close encounter I become enlightened. I wish I could describe it better, but it is exceptionally awesome. That's not even close, but just the spiritual thoughts of God which I have truly experienced many times before. I can feel Him very near.

My ideal of communicating with God would be mentally speaking to the heavens on a cloudy day about the beauty of the Sun. It is so wonderful to see the Sunlight break through the clouds just for a moment to reveal itself.
