As one of the greatest stories ever told, movies are intriqued with the bibical account of the life narrative and influences of the life of Jesus Christ. There are hundreds of films released over the years, including television and special films which have their places also on the life of Christ. Now, Son of God will also be another one of the films added to the list of many. Along with possibly many more to follow; the 2014 film version is biblical ready to be shown in the theaters beginning February 28, 2014. Already, many are scheduling church groups and faith based audiences to see this one.. The film will also be based on biblical accounts of the life of Jesus, the parables, the miracles and the death and resurrection of Jesus.
Before it's ready for release Son of God has also stirred some controversy with scenes which related to character actor's face portraying Satan. So some the scenes with Satan have been casted out. That may seen quite ironic; since it's also relates to Satan being casted from heaven according to the biblical account. Mainly, the reason for his outcast from the film is because of the similarity in the look resembling the United States President Barack Obama. After considering this the comparison, moviemakers decided to extract scenes of Jesus' fasting for 30 days with the temptation of Satan.
As with the many films of this nature, there always follows the comments and opinions formed on the depiction of Jesus. Ones whom will watch may either encounter the movie as highly emotional and spiritual uplifting or; others depending on their own beliefs or even disbeliefs will form their own opinion. For most who enjoy films like these one; it might be considered one with great and meaningful drama. You can decide for your own reasoning, but to see it YOU'LL HAVE TO GO....
