One of the greatest in baseball couldn't compete without the name of Hank Aaron. Hank was born Mobile, Alabama in 1934. He played in the major leagues with the Milwaukee Brewers and the Atlanta Braves. Hank has popularity with his professional batting and score records. Hank is one the last players of the Negro League Baseball players. Hank retired from baseball in 1976 from the Milwaukee Brewers team. Hank has also be nominated the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1982. Famously known by hit number #715 Hank broke the record held by Babe Ruth.
Hank now 80 years old was recently in the news from taking a fall on the ice which resulted in surgery of hip replacement on February 15, 2014, but he has shown progress toward a full recovery.
Hank was one of 7 other siblings and also has a brother which played professional baseball. Hank has received 3 Golden Glove Awards and Most Valuable Player in 1957. Although his list of wins is long, his record of being one of the best is accounted as sufficient to his dedication to the game.
