Getting Over the Hump
I work in the Internet space. Day-to-day, I handle the SEO and social media for a major Internet company in Silicon Valley. Just recently, I decided to create a blog for African Americans centered around travel and adventure: http://www.kymtom.com
Although I'm surrounded by Internet stuff day-in and out, I am now my own webmaster and want to emulate the successes of those around me. It took years to get this off the ground, just getting over the hump and putting my all into it was a job in itself.

Hello Ms. Martin,
Firstly, Black Americans are not African people. An African American is a person of African parentage that became an American citizen. Black Americans were never in such a situation to apply for citizenship in this country of White America.
Secondly, Black Americans immediate concern is becoming a sovereign people in a country of our own in my life-time.
Good luck with your endeavors.
