Wednesday, May 28, 2018 a woman was attacked and killed at a local McDonald's restaurant in the province of Shandong, China when she refused to give her telephone number to 6 people from a religious group from the Church of the Almighty God. Cameras recorded the incident as it unfolded the woman being beaten by six people allegedly being members of the church. Onlookers did nothing as they witnessed the woman being beaten to death. According to sources the church group has been banned in China for making predictions of the end of the world in 2012. Many fear the religious group's association and never report; if others who speak up in protest of them are harmed. Often no one will do little or nothing to come to their aid if anyone is under their attack. State media said that many of the online protestors ridiculed onlookers-- and were outraged that they should have done something to help save the woman. The six people have been arrested in her killing.
