A strong magnitude earthquake rattled on Sunday, August 03, 2014. The 6.3 earthquake also has a report of taking 150 lives during it's arrival. The region of southwest China in the province of Yunan where most deaths occurred. The quake did damage schools and homes and has caused loss of communication in the areas. State police and volunteers were shown carrying the injured as well as the deceased out on stretchers. China is a well known area for many quakes varying in different areas of the region. In 2008 the area of Sichuan had some reported of 700,00 deaths. Relief and aid has been sent to families in form of tents, quilts and food from China's government.
