Did Author Bram Stoker invent the story of Dracula or were they about real peoples?
Countess of Transylvania, Elizabeth Bathory (1560-1614) came from one of the richest and noblest families in all of Hungary. During the Blood Countess's reign of terror, 650 girls had lost their lives. Their throats would be slit and all of their blood drained for Elizabeth's bath, because she had an insatiable desire to look young.

In October 2011, Prince Charles publicly claimed that he is a descendant of Vlad the Impaler. Vlad III, Prince of Wallachia (1431–1476/77), was a member of the House of Drăculești, a branch of the House of Basarab, also referred to by his patronymic name: Dracula. Dracula literally means "Son of the Dragon".

When people say that they have been washed in the blood of the lamb, it doesn’t always make everyone think positive thoughts. According to John chapter 6:53 “if you do not eat the flesh of the son of man and drink his blood you have no life in you”. A story was passed down from generations about how Christian children would come up missing around Jewish holidays which led to anti-Semitism.
