"Women History month will remember this woman"
This is about a woman who has been named the first female winner of The Fields Math Medal. Iranian born Maryam Mirzakhani made it a first woman to win a most prestigious award. The Fields Medal which has much of the comparison to the Nobel Prize except in the field of Mathematics. Mirzakhani wins this Nobel honor with her complex achievement in geometry. The Fields Award has four medals one of which Mirzakhani will receive in Seoul, China at the International Congress of Mathematics. This is a first win by a woman and she not only wins once but twice by setting a new frontier for women to achieve in complex fields such as mathematics. The winner attended school in Iran before receiving her PhD at Harvard. Most women and young girls will have a role model now as women continue to embrace what wasn't always possible for them. She has given women all over the world a new math to achieving. One can lead to others.
