Hundreds of dedicated fans were gripped with grief at the funeral of one its most popular rock stars. Gustavo Cerati was laid to rest at a memorial service in the capital city of Buenos Aires. The famous singer suffered a stroke four years ago which kept in a coma. However, never recovering he passed away on Thursday, September 04, 2014. Crowds gathered outside the cemetery where he was laid to rest on Friday, September 05, 2014. Grief plowed through the crowd and also with family members and friends. Cerati once performed with the band formed in the 1982 called Soda Stereo. However, after a breakup from the band Cerati went solo. In 2010 he suffered a stroke following a concert in Venezuela which left him in a coma for four years. Cerati was a leading idol to many Argentina's fans and was world known.
Gustavo Cerati was 55 years old.
