The team was in the big league when Detroit played Cleveland had the pop up fly being caught by the Detroit Tigers showing some moves. Detroit player Alex Alvia demonstrating a high swing catch and twist in the air. He looked as if he was floating and landing the catch in Friday night's game on September 12, 2014. The fantastic moved happened in the fifth inning when Alvia caught the pop-up fly that flew into the protective netting, catching it and a graceful move and landing back to the ground. The netting makes it safe for flying balls, but Alvia made it with a great move without causing injury to the game watchers. It was just amazing to see! Just like an "acrobat" Fans went ballistic! The Detroit Tigers went on to a victory winning 7-2 over the Cleveland Indians.
It's one of those great plays of baseball.
Moves that you rarely get to see.
