LINENS: ENGAGEMENT RING

RING

The view of the linens

were among the wrinkles.

They folded in the Comforter

and the messages in a cool

dawn of the morning wrote

in the ring within curls of its folding.

It's a love's promise.

Eyes were beholding my love's face with

the engagement ring from the Comforter.
