For three years in a row the Big Apple has produced winners in its Miss America Contest. This year it's another lovely Apple Princess. The Miss America contestant winner from New York is 22 year old Kira Kazantsev. Kira was crowed Miss America 2015 wins the prize as well as a $50,000 scholarship and additional prizes and promotions. Kira is a student working on her master degree in Business Administration and Law. She is an activist against domestic violence. Kira follows in the shoes of former Miss America, also from New York, Nina Davuluri. She's a winner from the Apple once more. The contest was held in Atlantic City, NJ on Sunday night September 14, 2014
