Dancing, cheering, and festivity aligned the streets of Jarkata as crowds of hundreds cheered to the swearing in of their newest elected leader Juko Widodo. The 53 year new leader president was elected in July 2014. In a lavished but festive ceremony on Sunday, October 19, 2014 he rode in a horse driven carriage to the palace with the greetd cheering crowds. However, he called for a unity for his country. The high spirited leader has a background of politics being elected mayor in 2005 and serving as govenor in 2012. He is seeking a working government for overall unity and spoke adapting togetherness to make his countrymen live better lives. Crowds were elated at the inauguration services.
