Singer/songwriter Jimmy Ruffin departed life on November 17, 2014. Ruffin was said to have taken seriously ill in October 2014 and was admitted to a Las Vegas hospital. Causes of his death was not disclosed by his family members. He was 78 years old. Ruffin was duly noted for his career in music connected with the Motown Sound. He was the elder brother of David Ruffin of The original Temptations whom passed away in 1991 due to a drug overdose. Jimmy was an activist of an anti-drug campaign after the death of his brother.
