@ Steve....Engineering science is not used to self inflict punishment rather to construct an advantage or make for a more quality lifestyle. Man out to manipulate weather as to cause enormous dumping of snow on their own land causing loss of millions and millions of dollars in loss revenue for transportation, etc...I think leans toward irrational. Harry, I didn't say we were dumping snow on ourselves. Russia, China, Europe and probably others as well have the technology. But our own government may be doing it to us, there are certainly precedents. Or we may just be acceptable collateral damage. There are certainly precedents for that too.
