A stroll through the Mall at Bay Plaza (Bronx, NY)
New York City's largest and latest shopping center is in the north Bronx. It's the first one built in 40 years. And as Barnes & Noble stores in Manhattan are closing, the superstore in Bay Plaza will continue to host book signings by the nation's most accomplished and prolific writers. Yes this Mall was great for the "BX" as they will draw customers from the Bronx and the surrounding communities of Westchester County particularly Mount Vernon, Pelham, New Rochelle.
And for the residents of Co-op City this is truly fabulous...... they can chill shopping in the "Boogie" rather than ascend to Manhattan.
Plus I love the Dallas BBQ restaurant adjacent to the Pathmark Supermarket.... I always have to have a take-out box!!!
