Watch How This Woman Delivers Her Baby While She Talks to Her Doctor on FaceTime
In New Jersey, a baby was delivered via FaceTime after a woman went into labor while her doctor was in surgery a few miles away. Keyanna Rivera delivered her son, Raphael, without any pain or medication at her doctor’s office.
Amazingly, her baby boy came into the world within ten minutes, and her OB/GYN Dr. Meena Devalla’s assistants helped with the delivery.

However, Rivera said that although the technology has come a long way she doesn’t want to have another baby via FaceTime. Dr. Devalla added that FaceTime is a great tool for an emergency, but she wants to stick to traditional deliveries.
