"Let me explain..." Living in the spiritual life is an example of what's to come.. when you live by the Spirit it is an invisible life, but movements and actions one takes from the Spirit of the Lord is guided with ones outer bodies by the inner spirit of the new inner person. So, while in the flesh with the Holy Spirit in us ; we see virtually stages of what the eternal life will be with God -His eternal love and He will reveal all Himself to us to live as one body no longer made of flesh with one body of Spirit.
There are many verses that support the spiritual things to come eyes have not seen or heard what is in store,
In a quick reference I found this one:
"For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face;
now I know in part;
but then even as also,
I am known."
--1 Corinthians : 13: 12 KJV
