ESCAPES. . . . THE FOLLOWING WORD

The Spirit and the Bride writes...

 The bride listened to the speaking of her Love, He came in the early hours. It is always a pleasant time of day. She was hungry, but not for earth's bread. She needed the Bread of Heaven and he fed her with Word. Her yearning and burning heart kneeled and rejoiced at the feast before her, because it was Spiritual. She ate rigorously with roving eyes reading, absorbing, tasting in her mouth every flavorsome morsel. He knew her too, and loved her. Her quiet intimacy was with meditations and prayers and as she finished the supper...she went to the Escapes...."Today, she said I must write of something you have given me. That something is Love." In her love letter she told of the convulsions of the earth and heavens, and the great Light that would come. It would be her King, her Lover the Following Word.  Later, she fed her physical body with the earth's bread.
