DAY 28, 2015

APRIL

Washington, DC

April is poetry month, and realitivity a month of the Haiku.  That's unofficial, but the poetry form has been appearing more visable than ever across the minds and writings of poets.  The White House also played homage to the writing of the Haiku, which is a Japanese poem with only three lines.  President Obama honored his guest Japanese Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe with a toast and a Haiku was among the featured evening's entertainment.

The Haiku read as follows:

Spring, green and friendship

United States and Japan

"Nayoaka ni" {Meaning; harmonious feeling}

WATCH  OUT FOR A

HAIKU!
