President of Chile Michele Bachelet has asked her cabinet to resign.

The President said that she has requested resignations of her existing cabinet to turn in resignations in order to make reforms basis to recent scandals of the government.   President Bachelet requested resignations of her ministers because she stated " This is time for a cabinet change."   Her son was asked to resign in February 2015 his position of Head of Government Charity after it was discovered there was controversy over charity allegations and peddling.  However, all charges were dropped against any wrong doings.   President Bacholet said in a statement on Wednesday, May 06, 205 she will review in 72 hours who will remain and who would be released.   This is her second term as President of Chile. Bachelet is the first woman president of Chile.
