STRIPPED OF A TITLE: Downtrod of a Princess

In fairytales princesses are always ones to be plagued upon by a greed and fraud of a wicked character.  However, this real-life Spanish princess has been accused of being the one to be indicted on charges of fraud and greed. This is first time in Spain's history of royals that a royal has been stripped of a title.  In addition, the now  ex- princess of Spain has been stripped of her title as "Duchess of Palma."  The ex- princess  Cristina is daughter of former King Juan Carlos of Spain who was abdictated last year was stripped of her title by her brother Prince Felipe VII.  His actions followed  after discovering her possible involvement in tax evasion and stealing; or misusing public funds from the NOOS Institute.   The Princess was not said to act alone, she was said by media that her spouse Inaki Urdangarin a former olympic handball player was also involved in facing charges as well.   According to the ex-princess's lawyer,  the princess has pleaded not guilty.  In the meantime, she and her spouse will be making court appearences and even a possible sentence of jail time.   They both could serve a amiable amount of time behind bars if found guilty.
