BARCELONA'S TOURIST DISTRICT RAIDED WITH SHOOTING

Rambla one of Barcelona's popular tourist district was a scene of an alleged attempted robbery on Tuesday,  July 28 2015.   Several people were injured in a shoot out  in this main district.   According to local media two gunmen were reportedly killed by policeman as they siezed control of the robbers.   The incident took place on the intersection between La Rambla and Pinto Fortuny Streets.   Panic spread quickly among locals and tourists.   The two gunmen were said to have entered the hotel Silken where they opened fire at guests.   This shooting was preceded by an attempted robbery of  foreign tourists which those suspects are still being hunted.   Some eyewitness claimed the attack was a result of a kidnapping attempt that went wrong.  Although details are not fully confirmed at this time.  Several rumors said a fight broke out between two men outside the front of the hotel ending with an exchange of gunfire.   More details are unraveling as news of the incident is undergoing investigations.
