Archaelogists have discovered an ancient metropolis dated back as far as the 9th Century B.C.  The city of Gath is believed to have been occupied by the Philitines and the home of Goliath according to bibical records and history recordings.  The exhibition indicates this is the remains of that massive city, but discovered it while digging for trenches.  As the team continues to uncover the grounds of what appears as gates new studies unveils.   The dig and discovery is being conducted by the University of Israel.
