Thank you Brother Deacon! I do it joyfully too!
Jeremiah 17:7 ..."Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is."...
Black Americans can not get any joy from the scriptures of the Biblical White Jewish and European gentile people. Those stories in the Bible are not our stories and not our experiences.
Our only joy must come from God to our own prophet and then to us. That is how it was done for the Children of Israel when Prophet Moses was anointed to deliver the Children of Israel out of Egypt and Pharaoh’s hands, am I right. The same exactness must happen for us Black Americans.
Harry, you cannot take, or replace our joy from Jesus Christ, God's son. However, if you believe in Jesus and accept him as your Savior you will have the true joy of Jesus Christ that you do not presently have.
His joy is for those who believe.
We are not comparing Moses to Jesus, you are.
Besides, Jesus did not come to deliver people to another location in the world, Jesus came from the heavenly kingdom to deliver souls to heaven. Even, Moses could not do this. Only Jesus Christ.
What a total joy my soul has in Jesus!!!
"If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maran-atha"
--1 Corinthians: 16: 22 KJV
@Jeni ....Beautiful and joyful hope keeps the joy in trust!!
